Cookie policy

1. What cookies are

Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. They let the site remember your preferences and measure traffic. The same rules apply to other forms of browser storage, such as local storage, which we use to remember your choice.

Under Article 4(5) of Romanian Law no. 506/2004, which transposes Directive 2002/58/EC, and under Regulation (EU) 2016/679, we must inform you and ask for your agreement before storing on your device any information that is not strictly necessary for the site to work.

2. The categories we use

Essential storage

Always on

Strictly necessary for the site to work. It does not require your consent and cannot be switched off.

What we use:a single entry in your browser’s local storage, which remembers your cookie choice. The site uses no other essential cookies.

Analytics cookies

Optional

They help us understand how the site is used, and load only if you accept them. Google Analytics places a unique identifier in your browser that allows the same browser to be recognised on later visits. That identifier is personal data, even though it does not contain your name. The data is processed by Google and may be transferred to the United States, on the basis of the European Commission adequacy decision for the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework and the standard contractual clauses.

Examples: number of visitors, most-read pages, where traffic comes from.

Marketing cookies

Not used

We do not use marketing or advertising cookies and we do not track your activity on other sites. There is no Facebook Pixel, Google Ads or similar retargeting tool on this site.

4. Managing your choice

On your first visit a banner lets you choose which categories you accept. You can change or withdraw your choice at any time, as easily as you made it — with the button below or the Cookie preferences link in the footer of every page. If you withdraw consent for analytics cookies, collection stops immediately and the cookies already placed are deleted.
