Questions

Frequently asked

Why do we need a register of AI systems at all?

Because every other obligation depends on knowing what you have. Classification, documentation and human oversight all start from an inventory, and most companies underestimate how many systems are already in use, since AI arrives as a feature of software bought for something else.

Where is the data stored?

On your own infrastructure. The application installs locally, with no cloud component.

Is the licence a subscription?

No. A one-off payment of 550 EUR, with no monthly fee.

Does the software decide the risk tier for us?

It supports the classification and records the reasoning, but the judgement remains yours. It is a record-keeping tool, not a legal opinion.
